Together Hub ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Together Hub mobile application (the "App") and the website located at togetherhub.tech (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
We take your privacy seriously, especially when it comes to families and the personal information shared within household groups. We believe you should always know what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you register for and use the Service, including:
- Account information: Your name, email address, password, and authentication credentials (including Apple Sign-In tokens) when you create an account.
- Profile information: Your display name, avatar image, and any other details you choose to add to your profile.
- Group information: Details about the groups you create or join, including group names, member lists, and group settings.
- Content you create: Lists (grocery, to-do, packing), events, meals and meal plans, trip itineraries, notes, and any other content you generate within the Service.
- Communications: Any messages or information you provide when you contact our support team or communicate with us directly.
- Payment information: Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. We receive only a transaction confirmation and subscription status from Apple.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device information: Device type, operating system and version, device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage data: We collect aggregate usage patterns such as feature usage frequency and session duration. This data is aggregated and is not tied to the specific content you create within the app.
- Analytics: With your consent, we collect opt-in analytics to help us understand how the Service is used and improve your experience. You can opt out at any time by navigating to Settings > Privacy within the app.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
If you choose to connect third-party services, we may receive information from those services:
- Calendar sync: If you connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, we access only the specific calendars you select for syncing. We do not access your entire calendar account or calendars you have not explicitly chosen to sync.
- AI features: Our AI-powered features are provided via Anthropic's Claude API. When you use AI features, we send the minimum information necessary to generate a response (such as the context of a meal plan or list). We do not send your personal identity, email address, or account information to Anthropic.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
- To create and manage your account.
- To sync your data across devices and with group members in real time.
- To send push notifications related to group activity, reminders, and updates you have opted into.
- To process and manage your subscription through Apple's App Store.
- To power AI features such as meal suggestions, list recommendations, and trip planning assistance.
- To send service-related communications, including account verification, security alerts, and important updates about the Service.
- To analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the Service and develop new features.
- To respond to your support requests and inquiries.
We do NOT:
- Serve you targeted or personalized advertisements.
- Sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Build advertising profiles based on your activity within the Service.
- Use your personal data to train AI models or machine learning systems.
4. Advertising
The free tier of Together Hub includes a single, non-intrusive banner advertisement. This ad is generic and is not targeted or personalized based on your personal data, content, or activity within the app.
We use Google AdMob to serve these advertisements. AdMob may collect device-level identifiers for ad delivery purposes in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
Together Hub Pro and Family plan subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience. If you are on the free tier and wish to limit ad tracking, you can use your device's built-in opt-out settings (such as "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS).
5. How We Share Your Information
We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- With your group members: Content you create or add to a shared group is visible to other members of that group. This is a core functionality of the Service.
- With service providers: We work with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting infrastructure, Anthropic (for AI features), Apple (for payment processing and authentication), Google AdMob (for serving ads on the free tier), and RevenueCat (for subscription management). These providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their specific functions and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- In a business transfer: If Together Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose, under any circumstances.
6. Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
- We employ industry-standard security practices including access controls, monitoring, and regular security assessments.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access and export: You can access and export your personal data at any time by navigating to Settings > Privacy > Export My Data within the app. Your data will be provided in a machine-readable JSON format.
- Correction: You can update or correct your account and profile information at any time through the app's settings.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. Upon receiving a deletion request, your account will be deactivated within 7 days, and all personal data will be permanently removed from our active systems. Residual copies in encrypted backups will be purged within 30 days.
- Notification preferences: You can manage your push notification preferences at any time through the app's settings or your device's notification settings.
- Analytics opt-out: You can opt out of analytics collection at any time by navigating to Settings > Privacy within the app.
- Data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another service provider.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. While Together Hub is designed for families, accounts must be created by individuals who are at least 13 years of age.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Service and for any content shared within family groups. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@togetherhub.tech so that we can take appropriate action to remove that information.
9. International Data Transfers
Together Hub is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
